We ask for forgiveness
From Allah each day
Being sorry in Ramadan
Is important this way
There is only love
Allah and us between
Keeping Him our goal
For perfection keen
I’m sorry in prayer
And in dua each night
Through istighfar I promise
To all bad things fight
For sure we are good
And only good we do
But what if there’s an error
That only Allah knew
In Ramadan we try
To think of actions all
We may have done some wrong
Be they big or small
We’re all then set to be
Allah’s guests for sure
We know that He adores those
Who are humble and pure
