Rasulallah Revolution 9

Rasulullah Revolution – session 9

Pre Proclamation

Quran etched on his heart

He preached Quran through his actions not his words

Deeds were like his speeches

Pagans who called him Sadiq and Amin – he was his word

Admired his truthfulness in spite of being his enemies

They also admired his justice

What does it mean to be fair?

How do you know when something is unfair?

Fair does not always mean equal, it does not seem like such a big issue anymore

It means people getting what they need when they need it.

Keep the big picture in mind

Want special treatment –gain control of thoughts, emotion and behavior

Don’t reinforce child’s sense of injustice – will have a hopeless outlook on life – Teach empathy

If everything in my favour, would it be fair

Consider  thinking about what others may feel

Consider when it is time to speak up.

On the count of 3. 1.2.3 They lifted up the abaa with the Hajre Aswad on it. Together they took the Stone to the wall. Then Prophet Muhammed did the just thing. Talk about how much they value playing fair and ways to handle unfair situations in the game.

Also talk about how important it is to include everybody in playing especially at school and madrasah.

Discuss how playing fair does not always lead to winning. The true goal in completion is to do your best and enjoy participation.

Play and then allow them to exercise what we have learnt in the play.

Taking turns. Sharing and being considerate of others.

Discuss

What if the teacher at school said, she was going to give an award. The award goes to all the light brown haired people only. Is that fair?

Now go to scenarios that are happening on a daily basis.

My older sister gets to stay up later than I.

My brother finishes the water bottle in the car.

Your friend brings his ball to school but will not let you play.

Salim always gets to be the line leader

I’m not allowed to go to the school I want to.
