I see the Ramadan, crescent with delight
Pinned on the chest, of the darkening sky
I search with elation, there it is, oh my!
I look not believing, it is finally here
The month we love so much, the month we revere
There is no time to waste, so much to do
We’ll have fun pleasing Allah, me and you
It looks at me smiling, I waited so long
It says I’m here to guide you, correct all wrong
It’s time to for one month, let the tummy rest
When our soul is strong we will celebrate Eid’s fest
